This new form factor of the nanoledge technology is dedicated to prepreg makers, fabrics weavers and Resin Film Infusion (RFI)

LEO film can be used to develop high-performance composites by the fast and easy stacking of resin film on UD fibres or woven fabrics.

How does it work ?

Thanks to its Nano In™ Technology, Nanoledge ensures the successful integration of nanoparticles in different types of formulations and will provide ready-to-use thin resin film to maximize the potential of nanotechnology for the structural improvement of composite materials (toughness, fatigue, compression, impact, etc.).

This new generation of Nano In™ resin films avoids the manipulation of nanoparticles and the sensitive handling of nanofilled resin (EHS, processing and chemistry engineering, cleaning operations, etc.).

With these new films, prepreg producers will be able to manufacture innovative products using a conventional hot roller impregnator.

Fabric weavers will have access to new opportunities by fusing resin films onto woven fabrics, offering full solutions to their customers. And composite parts manufacturers will benefit from the RFI process to develop new generations of composite materials. Conventional epoxy resin film can also be provided.

LEO Nano In™ resin films are suitable for many industrial applications including sporting goods, aerospace, marine, tooling.
