Nanoledge is a resins manufacturer, specialized in the integration of nanoparticles into composites for improving performance and getting eco-friendly materials. Nanoledge develops novel and innovative eco-resin systems based on nanoparticles fillers to improve the damage tolerance and electrical conductivity of resins.


The aim is to replace conventional macro fillers with nanoparticles and reach better performance levels with fewer chemicals, thereby complying with environmental concerns. Taking advantage of nanoparticles for improving performance & getting eco-friendly materials, this is the way of Nanoledge, this means “ BECOME A NANOIST”.

 

Our Nanobase resins are sold to formulators and prepreggers, while a series of nano-formulated eco-resins is currently under development. They are filled with nanoparticles using the proprietary NANO IN technology. These products are compatible with conventional processes (e.g. laminates, RTM, prepregs, etc.) and are packaged as ready-to-use thermosetting resins.

 

Nanoledge's corporate activities are the following

 

  • To provide consultancy services to market stakeholders seeking to improve the performances of existing materials - more specifically, their mechanical properties and electrical conductivity; 

 

  • To develop and produce a variety of resins filled with nanoparticles ( for instance, carbon nanotubes, nanoclays, nanosilica ) - more specifically, for the market of high performance composites & eco-friendly materials;  

 

  • To market our services and products to targeted stakeholders whom we assist directly with implementation into their manufacturing processes, as well as to foster new market applications for advanced nanostructured materials - more specifically, with resin formulators and manufacturers of intermediate products;

 

  • To pursue innovative advances for the development of new technologies and novel nanomaterials - more specifically, with a view to extending the Company's market penetration as well as to building a strong IP proprietary portfolio.

Over the past 5 years, NANOLEDGE has developed a genuine know-how in the production, dispersion and integration of nanoparticles into thermosetting resins such as EPOXY.

 

This expertise, resulting from CNRS (France national scientific research center) initiatives led to the development of our patented technology "NANO IN", which enables the integration of nanoparticles into high performance, eco-friendly and multifunctional composite materials. The NANO IN integrated nanoparticles create/improve conductivity, strength, flexibility, toughness, chemical resistance, compression & fatigue.
