Nanoledge develops novel and innovative eco-performance resin solutions based on nanoparticles fillers & green chemical additives to improve the damage tolerance and electrical/thermal conductivity of composite materials.

The aim is to replace conventional macro fillers with nanochemicals and reach innovative performance levels with fewer chemicals, thereby complying with environmental concerns.

This is the way of Nanoledge, This means “ I, NANOIST ! ”.

What is a nanoist ?

Being a nanoist means taking advantage of nanochemicals for creating high performance materials and eco friendly materials.

Today, conventional composite materials, though efficient in their structural task, suffer from a certain number of flaws. In order to compensate these flaws, nanoparticles can overcome this issue and bring to the market more efficient materials. The main advantage of such a route is that materials offered to the market are more of an evolution than a revolution. These materials won’t change all of the conventional industry processes but help it being more competitive. To achieve this goal, the whole value chain of the composite materials has to be convinced of the true value of Nanocomposites.

This is exactly the essence of a nanoist: “Sharing information to promote, enlarge and establish the use of nano based materials”.

On the other hand, industry is facing another challenge where conventional materials cannot be considered as sustainable for the planet and the environmental concerns. Solutions based on renewable sources and bio based materials exist but most of the time, the performance achieved by such materials is no match for conventional materials.
To solve this issue, a nanoist also has to be aware of the use of nanoparticles to design materials, compliant with environmental concerns while still achieving a decent level of performance thanks to the nanoparticles.

That is the reason and the motivation for creation of this website.
We wish to build a strong community to share ideas, point of views and information in order to enrich knowledge, create performance and protect the environment.
