Nanoledge was founded in March 2001 at Montpellier, France, as a spin-off company from research initiatives undertaken by the internationally known Patrick Bernier, ( in charge of nanoscience and nanotechnologies at the French CNRS institute, France ).

Initially, the company focused on the production of carbon nanotubes: it was the first producer of single wall carbon nanotubes in Europe. However, since 2006, the company has specialized in nanochemicals ( carbon nanotubes, nanoclays, nano silica.... ) integration for the composite industry, thereby moving away from its status as a producer of carbon nanotubes.

In june 2008, Nanoledge has been refinanced by Canadian investors and has moved all its people and operations at Boucherville ( near Montreal, quebec ).

In 2009, Nanoledge has launched its INNOVIUM resin solutions offering from component to end product.
 

Actually, the NANO IN technology allows nanoledge to be leading nanoformulator with unique and successfull nanochemicals blending expertise into epoxy based polymer systems ( Component, Formulation or Materials purpose ) .

 


 

Our NANO IN technology, based on integration of nanoparticles ( carbon nanotubes, Nanoclays, nanosilica.. ), improves or creates the conductive properties and the strength, flexibility and stiffness of High-Performance and multi-functional materials.
