Daniel Cyr is Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Telesystem. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, corporate finance and was involved in dozens of M&A transactions. As a Managing Partner, Mr. Cyr is responsible for a number of investments of the group. Prior to joining Telesystem in 1992, he was Director of Finance at the head office of Steinberg, one of Canada’s largest retail food and real estate groups. He started his career as an auditor and financial modeling expert at Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Cyr holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec. Mr. Cyr currently serves as director on the board of Zone 3, Ecomedia Advertizing, Metafoam Technologies, Microsigns Technologies, and Woozworld. He has served as director of a number of public and private corporations of the Telesystem group, mostly in the ICT sector, including TIW and Microcell Telecommunications.
